AS,

Of course I knew that DELL saw its earning going up each Q in the last 3 years. Their last miss was late 95, which witnessed a 60%+ drop in share prices in a month. I do have a feeling that they tried too hard to make 0.28 for the last quarter, and might have stretched things a bit. It will be interesting to know whether their price cut had anything to do with their last minute sale for the last Q. And I am still very upset at the longer and longer DSO. They promised to shorten the days of DSO two quarters ago, only to witness this thing going up from 34 to 40 days. And we are all too familiar with what happened with longer DSOs for most companies in the past. And the cut in operating expenese to making numbers...DELL was perfect in my eyes before I read through this report and listened to the recent conference call. But now I am not sure.
