the further we get along in the year, the more obvious the changes are... I first noticed real differences in about July. rudedog, do you credit this to Ballmer's new title? Are there real changes beneath the surface there? Is Bill really stepping back somewhat? As I've posted before, at least on the NT5 front, it looked to me like Ballmer getting more control was good for the company. And on the legal front, Bill leaving things to the lawyers has to be a good move too. Maybe Trey had a heart-to-heart with the Deuce there. (<ggg> aka :-)) Cheers, Dan.

If only MSFT responded with the circumspection that Intel and IBM have shown in the past. Both Bill's seem to want to push it right to the edge, don't they. And I say that without any political intent (I get enough of that nowadays on the sanity check thread :-) I expect MSFT to go back to business as usual ++ when they are out of court again.
