Another price war may be brewing CPQ lowered prices on the Presario machines. Great price, I put a Model 5150 on order it has a AMD K6-2 3D-350 MZ, plus 128 Meg of 100mz SDRAM, 32XCD ROM, Cable Modem hookup and many other features to numerous to mention.

It sounds like you are trying to plug another box maker's stock on this thread. Perhaps you are a shareholder of Compaq?? I do not think that you will make any converts here. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with Dell. What there is a scarcity of is integrity, and ethics among analyst. You can remain invested in any company you want. I for one choose to remain with a company who is a leader in its industry with sales and revenues that grow in a healthy manner beating the S+P. I do not know how you can dispute this with Dell. People who try to time the market and stocks never create wealth for their portfolios. They would be much better off abandoning the casino mentality of investing and remain firm for the long haul.
