Jumper and Pak, I like Canon and think digital video is the new thing in that area. However, I also own cheese poofy Sony. <G> These things are like the game market to me. I have no interest in video games or digital video as a consumer, but I think they are huge markets. (Being color blind may be one reason I am not attracted to the wonders of photography)

The only negative is that the practitioners are already huge cos. Sales have to ramp up fast to make much difference to a Canon, and I don't see how they can ramp up fast enough to mean much to Sony. But this could be a great new market for the beleaguered Japanese economy.
