don't do datek.

immensely unreliable servers, delayed reporting on whether you're 'in' or not, poor customer service.

i guess the best way i can say it is i prefer e-trade to datek.

I recently joined Datek. Was just about to execute my first trade, and I got an error message that the server was busy and to try back later.I ended up calling my Schwab broker, whom I hadn't called ina year!..check out the Datek thread here and look at posts from the last week.

I would be interested to find out who you chose, as it appears I am in the same boat.
