I agree, my calculations are based upon what the DRAM makers get from the OEM's- say $12-16 or so now. That is how the royalty is paid.

FWIW, I am reading the 10/15 H&Q report by Seth Dickson and he uses a Net margin number of 39.5% in FY '00. This represents a higher net margin than MSFT.

We'll see...
