Sandie, I know you asked JEB but wanted to throw in my own two cents. I am new to Level II also, I downloaded StockEdge from www.dbc.com and was up and running w/in two hours, I signed up for a 12 month contract $79/month pls about $60/month in exchange fees. They have a thirty day trial period. I have been happy so far, but have not used any other tools so I can't compare them. I was eager to try any level II system, and they made it real easy. Didn't even need to talk to anyone, did it all thru the internet.

Maybe someone else could compare different Level II systems, I need to decide if I should keep Stock Edge beyond my 30 day trial period.

I use PCQuote 6.0 / Realtick III system. On the tick charts it offers the drawing tools for charting.

All you do is right click your mouse and pull up 'Trend Tools'. Then choose the drawing style you want such as my two favorites, 'Regular' (For drawing a line in any direction) and 'Horizontal' (Simply place the mouse pointer on the price level you see support or resistance, click and let go. The horizontal line is set.)

All the lines drawn (If drawn through your connecting point and to the edge of the chart) are interactive and continue as the chart ticks move on.

Thanks,
JEB
