I am answering my own question regarding earnings for AMZN in the year 200.

Merril Lynch projects a performa loss of -.77/share. With amortization of good will a loss of -1.99.

Don't forget that options can "wash out" a loss on the stock just as if you bought it back within 30 days. If you have any losses of AMZN trades that is.
