George,
I have one of these stories too. In 1983, I think it was, I was taking a graduate course in Career/Life Planning at a small school in TX. My prof. told us about a new company in Austin that he thought would make a good long-term investment. He said they made computers to order, and that no one else did that. This prof never made another comment the whole semester about investing. He was referring to Dell. When I called my broker to ask about Dell, he had never heard of it, but he got me some info, and the price was in the $8 range.
Yes, I bought some; I thought it was a small risk to take at the time at that price. Dell has been very good to me! Now I am here
taking the same risk in ANCR, and have been for a couple of years, although Ancr has not been good to me yet! Nancy
