>>>Sony, who recently announced a new 200mb disk, will be shipping 50- 1.44mb floppy disks with each 200mb disk they sell in retail outlets.<<<<

I just about fell off my rocker reading that!! Juse what the average pc user needs...more 1.44mb floppy's. As if we all dont receive enuff of em from AOL !!! Muahahahahaha....I love AOL and their re-writable floppy's. In the local Office Depot store they're having a sale on the 1.44's and with the mail in rebate they end up being free.

I wonder what's next? Perhaps IOM will retaliate by including a shotgun in with the 250mb drive so one could use Sony's Floppy's as target practice.

PULL !!....kaboom!.... PULL!!...

>>>In an interview an unnamed Sony executive was quoted as
saying, "those assholes at Iomega!"<<<

That is just too funny. And they are going to include 50 free 1.44 floppies with their drives. With marketing genius like that, no wonder they posted a loss last quarter.
