You should check with Wit, but I think you need to have the cash (or margin buying power) for any IPO orders in your account before the IPO. Also, I wouldn't count on getting 1,000 shares of Prodigy, after Earthweb they'll have a lot more interest, so I suspect the shares might get spread around to more people.

When you get shares in a Wit IPO, they show up on-line the day after, usually. I also got an e-mail confirmation of my EarthWeb allocation the morning of the IPO. They did send me an e-mail the day before asking me to e-mail or call to confirm my order.

If you sell before 60 days, I don't know what will happen on future IPOs. You could ask them, but they seem to say you will lose out on future IPOs if you do so.
