Larry, the person I referred to was sitting next to me at the time of my post. I simply asked an opinion on my 5% estimate and it was made clear it was only an opinion. I asked because the person has been in the securities business for many years and is a managing director of a large securities firm.

As I stated before, I would not be worried about Valence if 50% of companies using convertible preferred had failed, and with the recent insider buying and decision of the Worldcom chairman to come on board, would not be worried about Valence's financing if 80% of companies using convertible preferred have failed.

It seems we have now gone far past the point of beating the subject to death. I suppose its one of the few remaining subjects the shorts and naysayers have available with enough ambiguity to be spun to worry Valence investors.
