David...
I have Intel Dec 100c options... just bought last week....
because I believe Intel has a very compelling business case going forward....and I believe it will keep going up.

on the other hand, no telling what will happen with the market during the coming week... the wild card is the FOMC meeting on Tuesday.

If I were long in the Intel common I would definitely hold. And I think I will hold my options going into Dec. if we see flat during this coming week.

With Intel's recent counsel on the current quarter and the news about what they are selling via e-commerce (better than DELL and CSCO), I'd say they were a very good news story, and that any long term investors would want to be part of. They are just about the bluest of the blues, the story is good, and more people will probably step up into the stock. There is not the sense that they could 'burst' like the internet stock bubble; leaving investors high and dry.

david--

it looks like (at least from globex's POV<G>) you will have a good day tomorrow.

i would sell at 10. but then, as linda will tell you, i am a wimp when it comes to taking profit.

you made an excellent play...dont overstay your welcome. no one ever went broke taking profit.

good luck to all,
trey
