My plays for Monday: PIR. Pier One. Strong accumulation Thur and Fri. Nice write up in Barron's. Strong retailer heading into holiday shopping season. Expect it to gap up a bit at open and then gain through the day. Looking for it to close up 1- 1 1/2 points easy. XYBR. (Xybernaut). Strong finish on Friday following news that company will debut it's wearable computer at Comdex. The traders love this one. They'll keep hitting it all day Monday. Expect it to gap up at open, shake a bit and provide nice entry point. Looking for it to gain at least a point (if not more) during the day. You can hold it in hopes Comdex will keep it running or take your profits with a smile. TDFX. 3-D Interactive. Nov 17 1/2 calls. Trading under a 1/4. Looking for stock to pop up during Comdex and make these calls worth money before they expire. ADI. Analog Devices. Love the rumor. Play into it. Go for the calls for a quickie.. or buy the stock. Even if the rumors aren't true, should get a point or more out of them on Monday. Kath
