Thanks again, John. Maybe I'm just getting overly cynical, but that was the intent for Internet One, as well... wasn't it?

Having been around nets for nearly a third of a century, if you count my ham radio days as a lad [grin], I tend to think that this cloud will experience link creep, corridor effect, and turnpike-itis.

Which is to say that it will grow extremities to the outside commercial world as a matter of course, and will be subsumed the same way the first one was. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Networks just have a natural tendency to want to be opened up and "touched."
