Seems like a good thread for those with deep pockets but what about us beginners with only $30 to 40,000 to invest...we should be investing and trading in the under $20 crowd. Is this thread only for the rich?.

Just the reverse. You might want to contribute a fine pick yourself as I don't recall you on this thread before. Market Gems the thread will be as it always was a thread for picks and updates and quality analysis in a TIMELY manner. I will still spend hours during market hours since I trade anyhow and am on the computer all day posting about stocks that look good and might otherwise be missed. Wild horses can't keep me away from posting stocks that look attractive and might be in buy territory. I'll continue it. and I'll continue to carefully research stocks that I have been asked about and post them if I think they will be of interest to to others (thereby the e-mail that precedes some posts) Nothing has changed in 2 years and nothing will change in the next 2 years.

here will always be stocks posted here BEFORE they have gone up points and entry is no longer profitable. If I wanted it to be the sole province of market gems subscribers than it would follow that we WOULD discuss only stocks that are on their watch lists and that is just what we WON't be doing. So what are you concerned about?

The only change is that certain stocks appearing in the 'premium' service for subscribers won't be discussed. They shouldn't bother you or anyone since you don't have the watch list for the stock in question so you won't have been prepared for the oftimes quick announcements of entries.

Market Gems the thread will be the province of fine service just as Zacks provides wonderful analysis for free. On almost every site of fine repute there is a free part and a premium part .. it is that way with Market Watch, Zacks, Microsoft Investor, Stocksmart, Decision Point, and many others too numerous to mention. Sure they might 'mention' the premium service they offer, but they deserve the right as they are providing an exemplary free service as well.

I won't be using this thread to discuss the premium service stocks but will definitely continue to keep the thread as it has been for two years. Also the watch lists are posted to an "free" archive nearly weekly so many people can still partake of picks that will still be good over and over again.,

If your problem is with me posting updates and messages to subcribers from time to time then rest assured I have been given permission to do that... And I will continue to do so. I have had an ongoing relationship with Jill and before I did anything I got her 'go ahead'. In fact it was the Dryer brother themselves that included the url to my premium website in the introduction to this thread just recently. They might just see the contribution Market Gems makes to Silicon Investor where you don't seem to..

It was Silicon Investor themselves that interviewed me a while back and posted the website url in that same interview which they themselves printed in SI. I must then question your ulterior motives in your post..

Subscribers have been coming in droves not because of the casual references on the thread but for the success of the watch lists and newletter and not least for the amount of research time I save professional traders by providing them with 'ready to go watch lists's every morning. If some more come on board... it is through an inordinate amount of hard work I put into both the thread and the commercial enterprise.

And MG yet even begun formal advertising on any media .There will be an ad campaign beginning December and it will include GNET.. and it will not be for free.

MG's popularity has "NOT" blossomed specifically since market gems the commercial site appeared.. We were the #3 thread of all time since 1996.. and are now #1.. So it seems that we are doing something right here. If you still feel the thread is now 'below par' than there are 9,999 other threads on SI you can visit.

This post will probably be the last time I mention this again. I just thought I would clear the air for perhaps a handful of 'disgruntled' posters....
