Curious: I understand the jury is still out on the value of vegetation anomolies as exploration tools, however I am curious about the underlying scientific thinking. What do they hypothesize is the science behind these vegetation anomolies. Is it geochemical, is there an acid or base in the ground water?? Is it electromagnetic, i.e. does the anomoly leach metals out of the ground water thereby affecting the plant life???

Hello Mr. Peepers -
The idea that plants can be helpful indicators is good
in hind sight especially for some fuzzy headed professor
types. It looks like Marum will never get the benefit of a
hindsight the way they are progressing. Thank you for making
me aware that AGS are credible kimberlite exploration experts.
You should tell them that, it would make their day!!!
Ten years did not teach impart much in this instance.

still LOL - aj
