I plan to apply it to the futures market, as that is the most direct play on the PM prices. Ideally, I would like to: 1. Devise a mechanical system for generating buy signals 2. Set mechanical sell targets and stop levels for each buy 3. Backtest over a 5 or 10 year period If we come out significantly ahead, then we have a good system. If not, then we need to develop filters or "confirmation" signals. Let's continue to compare notes. If you have already covered the above 3 points, it would be great if you could share your specific system and the testing results. TIA THC
