INDEX UPDATE
--------------------------

The S&P Futures are up strong around 8.00 and FV around 3.75. As I have always watched the market internals, this week is a really important weak to watch the market internals to get some hint of future movement in the market.

Since this runup began in OCT, my position on the market internals is that they have improved, but have not improved that much to support such a big runup. We all realise that one of the main motivations for this big runup is the rate cuts. My postition now, is still unchanged and that is that if the FEDs cuts rates tomorrow, the market internals need to improve dramatically almost immediately to support these levels.

Per my earlier post, I did a study of the NEW HIGHs/NEW LOWs, and with out repeating it again, basicly if rates are cut and the NEW HIGHs do not get above 100 and stay there, then a short-term top will arrive soon, and a pullback of about 5.00% or more should take place within a month.

IOM...

XIA:

IOM is up 1/2 so far today... So much for Alan Abelson... He has panned so many stocks that went on to make new highs that he has become a contrary indicator... He has Rear View Mirroritis... He looks back instead of looking forward... At 11:30 today the Prez of Iomega will be on CNBC... I think he can do a better job of telling us what's happening today at IOM than Abelson's stories of yesteryear... : >
