donald--

this is something i have had on my mind for a while...as long as we have fund managers who are too lazy to do any real work we are going to see the RUT lag the big caps indices simply because when you get a hundred million a month, and it has to be put to work quickly, the easiest way to sink it is to put it DELL, GE or MSFT.

until we get a real capitulation in the big caps, i dont see anything to indicate the RUT (at least at these levels) is a compelling investment...even though fundamentally that is where i would rather be.

maybe if we dont get a rate cut manana, we can expect the RUT to rally. of course, if we dont psychology changes and EVERTHING will be for sale<G>.

as a side note, what do you (or anyone else who cares to answer) think about the inablity of the dow to break 9k? sign of weakness?

good luck to all,
trey
