The GEAC product is what formerly used to be Smartstream from Dun & Bradstreet a big player years ago scuttled by D & B and sold for peanuts to GEAC a Canadian Firm - a real second if not third tier player. Dun & Bradstreet only made their product available on Sybase while SAP and Peoplesoft were working with Oracle. I believe in the last year or two while Smartstream was on its last legs it finally announced it was working with Oracle - too little, too late. I believe history is about to repeat itself with GEAC.
