Well, the stock action this morning is anemic, with only 1100 shares traded. What has the regular stock (non-ADR0 been averaging, anyway? But someone wants in, as there are 6300 shares bid at 13 1/2. So that's being walked up, bit by bit, anyway.

Saw lots of Eidos product this weekend at two CompUSA's. Final Fantasy was featured in all the advertising as being blown out at $20, btw.

Got a copy of Accelerated Gamer (something like that) this weekend at the PGL championships in San Francisco (Thresh still rules) and it gave Daikatana some very nice props. It came in third out of 25 potential Quake II killers. Had a page on TR III as well.

I wonder if the PSX isn't a more important platform for TR than the PC, these days? I mean, theres only one reason why more copies have sold than of Myst, and that's the PSX. Sales of the platform are totally booming. I follow THQ very closely and its big console offering for the season is already selling like crazy. The biggest reason is likely the expanded platform base over last Christmas.

Regards,
Marc

Edit--not sure how deep this buying pressure may be, but we now have a 1500 bid at 13 9/16.

EIDSYs marketing campaign for TR 3 has launched (at least over here in Germany). Since the beginning of the week a radio add of TR 3 is on air nearly every half hour. Lara is featured in over half the gaming magazines (the others are waiting for the original game, before the will publish a review, of course this will happen during the next few weeks). Another factor are the add campaigns from different big electronic retail chaines which make Lara the top item on their printed adds in several newspapers (they all hype this Friday when selling of TR 3 should start). And last but not least a new compilation of PC games called Gold Games 2 has been launched in Germany (the previous version sold over 600,000 copies). This compilations features 23 games on 24 CD ROMs for a retail price of 35 $, the top act is the original version of TR 1 (other EIDSY games included are Joint Strike Fighter and Links LS 98). This compilation is currently at No. 1 of the budget games charts. EIDSY has nothing to do with the manufacturing and distribution of this product, but this certainly means some royalty payments for EIDSY and free publicity for Lara (add campaigns for this product are based on Lara with full pages adds in various magazines). I don't know how the situation is in The U.S. but over here the TR 3 launch is the major event in the computer gaming sector for the foreseeable future.
EIDSY stock has begun to move up. This consistent trend should continue until at least the end of January when all the world (including the analysts) will see their strong sales numbers.

Greetings, Kai (still enjoying EIDSYs rally)
