Does anyone know how todays Iomega/Liquid Audio announcement will affect WAVXs desire/ability to handle encrypted music delivery?

better be some big announcement at COMDEX or else.

Or else what? Ask 'em that... Not optimistic about IBM? The "clue" I get from IBM is that THEY DON'T OWN OWN OUR CHIP.

Welcome the WaveMeter enabled PC, NC and myriad other digital communication devices. Our Client friendly microprocessor universally deployed and starring users right in the face from their devices "desktop's" flat panel display screens, (not just some 'portal'). Its conveniences apparent to all and its uses a matter of habit.

Client control is hobbled when someone purchases expensive IMB business solution software. The client is committed to IBM. That's the way the software-only solution providers like it. WAVE SYSTEMS doesn't like that. We're offering much more than just some incremental improvements for IBM's "business solutions." We portend more than the current EMBASSY platform as well. We make the incumbent clods a little nervous as a technology such as we represent tends to be used not just for making incremental changes but rather remaking the way things are done.

Here's to the power the speed and the Glory.
Marty

RE: "Big announcement at COMDEX ... or else"

This is the first chance I've had to look at today's posts or I would have answered earlier.

Or else what? What the hell are they talking about. I have neither the time nor the inclination
to wade through the RB posts, but if that's the basic tenor of their commentary, it sounds
quite a bit off-base.

People that don't have the patience to let the company perform their very well-planned and so
far well-executed program, ought to sell out and invest in something else. As we have all said
so many times, the stock price will catch up when there are living, breathing(?) people using the
system on a daily basis. Those who have confidence in management will be rewarded (IMHO).

Steve

PS - After posting I see that I was typing my response as Marty was answering and said some of the same things. Sorry.
