Bill, great topic, thanks for bringing it up here. I've discussed this in other venues, and it usually falls into a larger category of accommodations, such as E911, location identification , customer information portability, local number portability, electronic bonding systems, TMN, etc and all of that other good OSS stuff that is usually not on the "radar screens," as you put it, of many of the aspiring startups who are just coming out of the play thing stage. I've got some good articles on another host that I think I can fetch and repost here later. Frank C.
