Mika:

I realize that there are perceptual and cultural differences between us, but please. The ERICY spokesman is clearly stating that QC has refused to license its IPR according to what Ericsson deems to be international norms. It follows that for QC to extort blackmail there must be a hostage...what do you infer this hostage to be?

Since ERICY has disavowed any intention to enter the IS-95 market, the only logical presumption is that Ericsson is alluding to W-CDMA. This is obvious, but then again, I do not expect you or Tero to acknowledge this eventuality until we read about it on the news wire. You recognize, I hope, that such disingenuousness undermines the credibility of your other arguments?

Best regards,

Gregg
