donald: No guts here, just TA, a little experience, fast on the trigger....and a lot of luck.

I went flat for the weekend, even though I thought EGGS might be good for a gap this AM, because the CEO was to appear on Squawk Box on CNBC this AM.

But, I was not sure when, before or after the open. If the interview went bad, it could gap down instead of up. Also, I was not sure if the Bombs would fall this weekend and did not want to be holding if that happened.

But, AVCO...now that is where some experience paid off. I was not even following the darn thing Thursday. So, I was kicking my self for not checking ETrades "Trading Points" all day Thursday and missed the "stupid" run up and did not even short it.

After trading was halted all day Friday and the "real news" came out over the weekend, I knew some traders had been savvy enough to short AVCO at those lofty levels. And, since I had heard it would start trading again Monday and may open as low as 3 to 5, I thought to myself, all those shorts are going to race to cover down there, thus one hell of a short covering rally!

Traders be nimble and Traders be quick and don't get burned again, with AG's candlestick...<g>

Regards,
LG
