(Nasdaq:TCMS - news) today announced that it has appointed Nathan M. Avery as Chairman and CEO of the Company. Mr. Avery, who is Chairman and CEO of Galveston-Houston Company and currently serves as a director of TransCoastal, replaces Mr. Bill Stallworth, age 66, who resigned from the Company for personal reasons. Mr. Avery has been actively involved in the energy service industry for 35 years, including serving as CEO of a NYSE company for over 20 years. TransCoastal Marine Services Inc., headquartered in Houston, is a marine construction company.
