I did go ahead and reboot, switching to a 1 GB pagefile based on your earlier post. Seems to work fine--no noticable difference (not that I expected one.) If it'd be useful or interesting, I'll report any numbers I get from tskman or elsewhere on it.

I would be interested in getting good opinions as to the best size for a pagefile given this obscene amount of RAM I'm currently carrying. Part of me wonders whether I'd be better off giving it no pagefile, since I surely could get by without one and then wouldn't have to fight with the overhead. But that doesn't seem like a very good idea, esp since I have so much disk space (and on a seperate controller, to boot.)
