Hi Andre'. All of us on this thread contributed to Scott Adams article and we have Scott to thank for the results. it has become a topic of discussion now and it is up to us to keep it in the fore-front. Your problems you describe, continue to contribute to the "vacuum tube" technology that the banks and regulatory commissions provide to Canadian traders!!

I would highly recommmend an appropriate article in the Montreal Gazette would assist us all in our pursuit of "fair and equal treatment"!!

I am preparing an article for the National Post, hopefully they will publish it!!

We shall see!!

I once did sent an internet sell order on OEX options at 16:07
only to find out it wasn't executed because the markets were closed...

Andre: I am getting into the habit of buying on the internet, and selling over the phone. I pay a little more for the sell, but I can wait on the phone for them to confirm the sell. I take out the whole "worry" factor of something going wrong. I have done this the last few times with great success, and won't get caught "holding the bag" and losing money.
