Paul - Re:Congratulations on your $12 1/2/share loss!

Why Paul - thank you.

I said I'd take my crow plain. I use shorts to balance market risk. I picked the wrong stock & backed it out.

That was one side of the trade. Look at my favorites for the last week and compute the gain.(toss in wdry, that stock asensio(sp?) loves to short).

How do wou like DLJ making AMD a top pick?

Pravin,
Well, no one took my bet that AMD would have the 350 out by
the end of August. They were smart. Since Intel apparently
wants to cubby hole the Celeron A in low end systems, the
K6-2-350 should do well in the MHz game.
Around the first week of November you will see the K6-2-400.
AMD will be within one speed grade of Intel at that time. Intel
will have to speed up the Celeron at the expense of the Pentium
II......
--------

So tell me, how did I do? Didn't miss the introduction of the 400 by much did I...even though I predicted it nearly three months ago.
How does a bermuda short wearin' dude in Florida out guess a couple of PhDs in Silicon Valley? Kind of embarassing isn't it? <GGGGGGGG>

Take care now, Jim
