"I used to really enjoy watching Jeff Blake play..really enigmatic as to what happened to his game"
---------------------------------------------------------------------

My take...Jeff Blake was effective when he played on instinct. Ken Anderson (former QB Coach, now Offensive Coordinator) tried to teach Jeff to be a drop back quarterback like Drew Bledsoe. When Jeff began thinking too much on the field and not playing on instinct, he got worse and worse. He's got a strong arm and decent running skills, though. If he stays in the league for awhile, he may be another Randall Cunningham once he finally understands how to QB an NFL offense.

Ever since Mike Brown took over the Bengals as owner and general manager in 1991, the Bengals have not had a winning season. He has drafted terribly (high first round picks wasted on David Klingler, KaJana Carter, "Little Daddy" Wilkenson). He tried to "lowball" Boomer Esiason last year and lost him to ABC. Then, he ended up paying Neil O'Donnell a lot more than he offered Boomer?!?! Until Mr. Brown realizes that he needs to hire a GM other than himself, the Bengals will SUCK!
