As opposed to? It's the only kind I know, and believe me, I have implemented them all!

As opposed to software (good software quality or not) that doesn't address the needs of the customer (i.e. a product that does NOT bring in revenues...which may or may not be a software quality issue...) The quality of the software is not important unless you are working in the government or medical business, where quality is a factor in whether the product sells or not. QA is usually nothing more than "window dressing" in most software companies!!! What counts is who brings in the revenues...

Rod Maepherson (like a lot of the doomsayers on the Yahoo thread) equated software quality with profits. He didn't get the point! If you got back on the posting history, you'll find that Rod has posted anything on this board in at least a year. Why? Because he's wrong on his prediction that the company will eventually come crumbling down. Many who are more experienced with the business know better.

You were asking about why all the negative postings on NAI? Are you referring to just this thread or the Yahoo thread as well? I would find out who posts these negative postings on Yahoo. Your answer may become more clear... :-)

Cheers,
Joanna

P.S. I like the SI thread better on NAI stuff...very few slimes on this thread vs. Yahoo... :-)
