Michael,

<<Trade Minister Rafidah Aziz, spitting anger, told reporters on her way out of the dinner it was ''the most disgusting speech I've heard in my life.''

''To me, as a government minister, we are disgusted,'' she declared.

Asked about the $5 billion offered by Washington, Rafidah said: ''I don't care. To me it's not worth five cents.''>>

Gore better watch out. I was at a golf tournament and banquet that Rafidah attended recently. She is a real jock and a tough lady. I have a begrudging admiration for a lady that can run in the circles of indisputably chauvanist men. Maybe she is the alpha female? I think what she really ment to say above was "to me its not worth 5 cents by the time it filters through Mahatir". <G>

P.S. She has about 1/8 the intellectual capacity of Madame Albright. A ratio I find relatively applicable throughout the government of which she is a member. I rather imagine that it is a job specification.

Best,
Stitch
