newsalert.com Based on today's announcement by Compaq and Lucent, there'll be a huge new demand for DSL compatibility at the C/O. These ADSL-enabled PCs won't work without a corresponding unit at the head end. I've heard it said over and over that DSL won't take off until customers demand the service and they won't demand it until they have it on their PCs. Pfeiffer's doing what needs to be done at one end and folks like NN have to take care of the other. . Pat
