Thanks Frank..things are getting cold up there so drilling in Dec should be doable. Still think their DMS processing takes too long in comparison to others. Wish they would release before next week given the US holiday. I take it you have hit the snooze bar on your clock.
Regards DJ

Ashton Mining of Canada Inc -

Kaiser says finally, some good news from Alberta

Ashton Mining of Canada Inc
ACA
Shares issued 29,169,790
1998-11-13 close $1.99
Monday Nov 16 1998
John Kaiser, writing in a Nov. 12, 1998 Kaiser Express, says the Alberta diamond
play will soon return to its status as a topic of speculative interest. Mr. Kaiser says
flagship ADP companies as Ashton Mining of Canada ($2.24 at the time of writing),
Montello Resources Ltd. (43 cents), and New Claymore Resources Ltd. (78 cents),
have seen accumulation activity in the past few days. The California-based letter
writer says the upcoming K-14 bulk sample will be key to trends in the short term.
Even if grade and values of the parcel fails to clearly indicate an economic potential
for K-14 itself, Mr. Kaiser says the existence of large, high-quality stones "would be
proof that the Buffalo Head terrane is underlain by a fertile diamond stability field."
Mr. Kaiser expects the 450-ton bulk sample now being processed will yield between
100 and 200 carats. That is based on previous results from K-14a, which yielded 31
carats per ton. Mr. Kaiser also notes Ashton has more than doubled from its low of
95 cents reached on Aug. 10 and 11.

Frankie buddy! How are you? Just read the Kasier Tracker some pretty strong words in there! I truly believe that these next results will be critical to Ashton's support for the months to come! They have about 23 pipes and given the laws of probability when factoring in the mini-bulk sample done last year i would say that they do stand a very good chance of hitting it big! I know little about geology but i do about statistics! Sample sizes are usually a good sign of the over all distribution of the population in this case diamonds. If we look at winspear's results (Yes frank i know we cannot compare NWT with ADP, but in this context we can) obvious they have a very rich source however the source has not been deemed to be a pipe, if it had then Winspear would be trading at a much higher price. In this case if the K14 pipe is rich in a relative way then we could speculate that there would be a feasible mine given the probability from the sample sizes! i truly believe that someone out there knows right now if there is a feasible mine or not!
Good luck
keeping my fingers crossed
Alfonso
