IMHO, many market participants were lured into some sense of security and "feel good" by AG and Rubin just for the election. If you read today story about LTCM in WSJ and based on what they promoted themself and then how the FED saved them it is mesmerizing how low the FED went just to save the elections, and enable market conditions for the democrats to win. Strangely they preach to other how to conduct their own affairs are against bribes and for "transparent" business practices at a time the FED itself deals in murky substantces Economies and much more the whay of doing business can not be controlled by interest rates. The SE Asia, Russia,E. Europe and S. America problems are a result of how they do business over there and not interest rates. HWP earnings report was very disapointing especially that HWP started to learn the dirty tricks demanded by WS. "Special Charges" are excluded <gggg> as if is not money. This quarter you have one type of "speciality" next quarter you have a different one. For example LU is master in this type of delusion. A friend of my and CEO from the UK asked me recently why is LU and CSCO promoting in consumer oriented publication and TV wen they do not market to the average consumer?? He also said you guys in the US are strange, stock manipulation is illegal but pushing company stock is perfectly legal by advertising. Is this practice, not an insult to your intelligence?? he asked. Oh well ...... BWDIK Haim
