We fear ASP [average selling price] will continue falling long term as low-end PCs predominate, thus holding Intel's revenue growth to a modest level.

Burlap continues to talk about falling ASP's even though Intel reiterated at the analyst meeting that ASP's have been firm for FIVE QUARTERS. How do you "continue" something that has been happening??

Trufflette,

<Much will depend, he added, on how cost conscious consumers are. "The jury is still out on that question," he said.>

I hate to join the chorus of TK bashers but its quotes like these that indicate he is clueless. The fact that he is still fixated on the important but relatively small "consumer" PC segment shows how his "weighting" of factors is so faulty. You would think that he believes the beginning of the PC business started when the first PC's hit the shelves at K-mart.
