Hi Again Tippet; I've look forward to seeing this since June,
hope it's not to cloudy, look "east" early AM, my guess is 3 am
where ever you are. ( mostly because of the earth's speed )
as we run into them more so than them us.
Space ship earth is hauling ass a lot faster than most people
think, and early AM just before the Sun comes up is when you
can see the most meteors, looking out the front window in the
direction we are going. Our speed augment's the collision factor
by about 36,000 mi per hr.
The news media has played down the likely damage to sats, but
they have no real idea of what the effect will be. I know I don't
and I'm more into it that most of the reporters.
It may not amount to any damage, but then again it could knock
out half of them, the fact is we just don't know.
