P.S. how does one code StochRSI-- for the new beta. Also what does this indicator do?--never mind it is : set stochrsi= 8,8,5,w;-- another scan 33 sec including virtual conversion time. Phew!!!!! The older StochRSI scan certainly was a slow dog but not quite as bad a brookes VIDYA scan. :) Sean

BTW- just got new beta of qp2- ran a scan on 500 stock d/b in about 35 seconds I will have to check, but the StochRSI/MACD scan that you created for me seems quite fast even with the old version of QP2. The only problem that I have with using the prescan.lst first is that I do not get all that many hits. A stock that popped out tonight was "COX". It made it though the prescan and the final StochRSI/MACD. I modified your prescan conditions to only look at the high end of the RSI scale instead of the top and bottom. Have you heard anything about when the version will leave the "beta" stage? --- webb ---
