Thanks QwikSand. You must made it clear why SUNW is back above $60!

Acquiring SQNT would be a defensive manuever only. Would keep the UNIX wannabee companies from getting a better handle on how to do really big SMP configurations.

IBM still thinks SP2 is the answer. I think SP2 is a lot tougher to do than a big ole SMP box with lots of CPUs and a big sheet of memory to share. Who will they get to write the OS for them this time?

HP, clueless and aiming to stay that way.

I'll be long SUNW again tomorrow again. Should have stayed there over the past 6 months...
