>But I've yet to see the argument that can sway me to sell.<

I think you made a pretty good argument yourself:

>sell my WDC shares at a loss (bought at 32, held to 54 and back to 18) in order to buy CNWK as fast as possible. I got those shares at 31 in the middle of that day's run from 28 to 35 or so. And held them right through 74 and back down (and now back up).<

I will say that I'm glad I'm not short AMZN right now. Actually, it was a deliberate decision. We all knew that Amazon would be announcing their new product line (video sales). At least one analyst has been expecting Amazon to get into "other things". Well, the waiting is over for now. We will see how the stock responds. If it does not hit new highs this week or next week, then we have already seen the peak. This was Amazon's last hat trick. They have not been able to turn a profit selling books, so they turned to lower margin line, music. Gee, even K-Mart unveiled a CD music site on their web site today. So Amazon moves on to "gifts", presumably Barbie Dolls and such. Gee, like there is no competition there either? Toys-R-Us already has the largest toy site on the web.

Where is the next hat trick? I think that investors will now in the next few months be ever-more-worried about the lack of a viable business model, and the bloated market cap.

I'm guessing that by next Summer, AMZN will trade near $50-60. Then by fall will hit the $40's, then lower.

The point is, the story is nearing the end of the telling. Almost time to say "That's all, folks". Then the long slide.

All IMVHO.
