Sorry, I don't know what you mean by "side-band stuffs". Your explanation makes no sense. If chilling a processor has no affect on reliability then why don't AMD and Intel do it? This is a serious question. I must assume the answer is that it is a reliability problem regardless of what previous posters claim. I don't know for sure because this is not my area of expertise. I do know that if it was a no-brainer then Intel and AMD would be doing it. Isn't electromigration a function of frequency? Anyone?
