Mr. Bug...

didn't the market recently capitalize the supposed allocation of dram chips. and wasn't the new capacity being put back on line even before the supposed allocation surfaced?

the market capitalizes earnings, in theory, because they will recur year after year. yet they run up mu by 25 and the earnings effect probably isn't a month let alone forever...

brings to mind that there may be some short side opportunity in y2k stocks? perhaps our all knowing market hasn't yet realized that the y2k bug won't recur every year from now on??
