russell: Before any rate cuts were made, I thought the FOMC should cut rates by 100 basis points in two installments of 50 basis points. I felt that way before LTCM. I think there will be more cuts but I think they will be in December and a bit later. If the FOMC cuts today, it may be a reason to worry more than if they do not cut.
