From Briefing.com (I agree):

10:26 ET Lehman On Portals: Firm says its portal concerns remain intact given recent run-up in the stocks over hype
regarding Internet holiday sales; believes that portal competition continues to increase, with likes of deep-pocket players
such as NBC, Microsoft and Disney entering the arena; competition will force portals to increase marketing spending,
which will possibly impact margins; lastly, notes that in most competitive marketplaces only a handful of properties survive
-- most cities have only one or two newspapers, there are only four broadcast networks, and two major weekly news
magazines. "Thus we doubt that eight portals are necessary."
