'India,Land of the Tiger' On public television now.
JPR: In case you didn't know there is a program on India called 'India Land of the Tiger' that is going right now.A series actually that has been running since Monday,I missed Monday's but caught most of yesterday's.Alright I am going now to watch it.

Here is an amusing article on the human rights issue by Rajeev Srinivasan.It makes interesting reading.

The main point of the article being that the U.S does selectively use the 'human rights' issue in its foreign policy as a tool to obtain desired results while ignoring her own failings in this area.He does make a point however that the Americans are one of the most compassionate individuals found anywhere though the same can not be said about the government and its policies.
