HBOC breaks out from resistance. Although I know you have all done well today, I thought I would impart my strategy for playing today since really worked for me.. I was into COF when it already hit 101 7/16.. a little late but I wanted to see if the trend continued a bit. it did and I sold for 106. I had sold off yesterday mostly everything except some options from which I lost 2k from HWP..IBM and MOT fared better although no increase there. And now I have sold COF, a portion of PRGN, all SDRC,and WAMU, SFSK to free up cash so I can have some hamburgers today. Holding HBOC, SE overnight.. and FORMF I grabbed WAMU (on the watch list) when WAMU was still negative but about to break out. I'm looking at IDTC which was dismal this morning but still haven't bought. SE which was an earnings play watch list I picked up as well. I was especially looking for 'upgrades' and newsy stocks today because I figured they would benefit nicely from a positive 'surprise'.. so I got PRGN,SDRC and FORMF.. Those stocks I barely looked at the charts and just bought at market.. but they were stocks from my own database that were set up for news if anything happens. I didn't even watch others because I wouldn't have bought a stock that isn't in my 'autorun' directory. That is not the way to trade, but I had a good feeling today. I posted about PVN when it was down over a point and a half and now that's up as well. I posted these 'news' bits as timely as I could since I was a bundle of nerves all day.
