Hi Jim,

I think I have read your posts on the Parametric Technology thread.

There is a lot of old news around on AVEI as the market for the stock and the company's products is changing rapidly.

I suggest you get and read the company's last 10K from the edgar database. It was published 60-90 days ago.

For example, the company has just completed purchase of a division from CR Bard, effectively for debt. So the balance sheet is no longer debt free.

Another example, Boston Scientific has a new stent which was introduced and recalled within a few months. I expect it will be re-introduced shortly. It's impact? Subject to debate.

I think you may find that the company's earnings are difficult to predict, so the ratio's and valuations are based on uncertainly.

Just my opinions,

Regards,

Dave Chanoux

Jim,

This stock caught my eye as well. I own GDT, which is a solid long term hold for me, but this stock looks very cheap. Not only that, did you see return on assets/return on equity numbers?

I have read the other posts and agree with the concerns. But, if AVEI executes, like it looks like they have done in the past, Ive got to think there is a good return here.

Let me know what you end up deciding.
