>>OT<< Lisa, I went to order status, trade details and saw the time stamp error, called the office (while the market was still trading in the last minute) and didn't get the trade off. The guys at the local office are slower than the web, but for the most part have worked with me on disputes. Next day opened on an uptick, actually came out better. End of story. These guys (Waterhouse) do not have a day traders mentality. I've got to move the day trading activity to a better broker. Any suggestions?

Let me tell ya something, and i mean this sincerely...there are few individuals as important in ones life as your broker.
First comes your wife, your kids and family. Then maybe your doctor, perhaps your lawyer but after that its your broker.
You shouldnt have to worry about taking your broker to court, to arbitration to do whats right for you, to care for you and your account.

They are your agent (actually most act as principal) but they hold themselves out as an agent.

I can tell you that i have had , lets call them, discussions with clients, etc. , a wrong stock, bot instead of sold, but it always gets resolved amicably, and it would take the world to make me usethe phrase, 'lets go to arbitration.'. We've been around 22 years without ever a filing or complaint against our firm. I dont know anyone else that can say that, but i can bet there arent many.

My point, choose wisely. I didnt mean that to be too commercial, though we allknow its a bit self-serving. Where ever you do biz, find the most honorable within the services you need. Pay a few bucks more...dont lose 10grand to save $20. We talking big, real money here.
