although i agree that 8 portals seems like a lot
look at cable + mainstream TV
here in no. california
most of us have at least 20 channels

look for pressure on media networks
to MERGE TV with internet
who is in front?

i agree with the article
MSNBC, ABC/DIS/ESPN/SEEK, and i expect
yhoo and excite and others to team
up with the big media boys
cigars meets the internet
coming in 1999

seek will start moving in 1999
hit its stride in 2000
and be a front runner after that time
